Here’s a few of my favorite things that keep my stress levels down, my business thriving, and allow me to keep being the best resource for your fitness business. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
1 - Canva: Simple easy graphics I can create on my own to use on social media, in my newsletters and on my website.
2 - Spotify Premium: As a fitness instructor it is absolutely non-negotiable to pay for streaming music without the commercials. And as someone who works from home, it’s nice to switch gears to my Acoustic Covers playlist to help keep me focused.
3 - Gusto to manage my payroll: If you learn one thing from me, ever, it’s that you should never, ever, ever just take money from your business bank account and call it your salary. Please. If you’re ready to draw a salary, invest the $30/month into a payroll processor that will run payroll, automatically calculate your taxes, file your quarterly taxes, and prepare your end of year statements. One low fee, one stop shop, zero headaches.
4 - The best wardrobe courtesy of Carbon38, Alo Yoga and Lululemon. Because as my father always says, “it’s better to look good than feel good.” (PS - DANIELLESTEAD will get you 15% off at Carbon38 and those links for Alo and Lululemon will do the same. You are welcome.)
5 - Jenna Kutcher’s GoadDigger Podcast I rarely drive very far in LA, but when I have more than 20 minutes in the car I put Jenna’s mind-blowingly good podcast and it always speaks right to my heart.
6 - Daily Harvest or other grocery/meal delivery services: Eating nourishing meals to fuel your body and mind is hard enough, but find time to shop and cook when you’re stressed and short on time is not always an option. I avoid the Postmates/delivery trap and keep my favorite healthy smoothies, oat bowls and soups in the freezer. There’s tons of great options grocery and meal delivery services wherever you are you.
I could go on forever about all of the great people, services and products that have helped me and my business! If you’d like a product recommendation, or want me to dive deeper into a certain resource, let me know in the comments below!
